Route and visit center "Sartas" created in Mangistau region

The authorities of the Mangystau region, together with the Ministry of culture and sports, the Kazakhtourism Company, have identified another route for tourists to see the sights of the region, nature, historical, cultural, and tourist places. In addition, a modern visitor center for travelers will be opened in the region by the end of next year.

This route includes objects Zhygylgan, Fort Shevchenko, Kapam-SAI, underground mosques Sultan-EPE, Shakpak-ATA," the source said.
At the same time, the authorities planned to build a Sartas visitor center in the Tupkaragan district of the Mangistau region. It is expected to invest 248 million tenge. The visit center is planned to be built in 2020-2021, the press service noted.
"40 permanent jobs have been created; the capacity is 35-40 thousand tourists a year. The visit center will be equipped with an infodesk with an interactive map of the area, glamping, camping, yurt, cafe, souvenir shop, medical center. Visitors will be provided with jeep tours in the area, tours with Quad bikes to attractive places, bicycle rental and walking paths, safari tours, overnight in a yurt".
The total area of land allocated for the visitor center is one and a half hectares. A preliminary plan has already been developed, and a working draft is being developed. The investor of the visit center is «KZ Neftemash».
