The tourism potential at the «Baikonur» Cosmodrome will be developed on the example of the development of space tourism at Cape Canaveral

For the further development of tourism potential at the «Baikonur» Cosmodrome, on the example of the development of space tourism at Cape Canaveral of the State of Florida in the United States was elaborated a concept for creating an entertainment - tourist zone «Baikonur».

In accordance with this document, an entertainment - tourist zone «Baikonur» will include many objects, such as: an entertainment center, world-class hotels 4 and 5 *, a restaurant of national cuisine, a concert hall with 500 seats, a cinema, bowling, billiards, space entertainment attractions, observation platforms for monitoring missile launch, water park, family adventure park, shops of national souvenirs, ethno village and open expedition of rocket and space technology. Currently, a land has been defined and issued on the territory of the Karmakshy district on 1579 kilometers of the Western Europe - Western China international highway.
