To the Bozzhyra gorge in the Mangystau region

In Mangistau region, the representatives of the regional akimat together with the Ministry of culture and sports and the national company "Kazakhtourism" visited several tourist sites of the region to explore their potential. The authorities have identified three routes for tourists. One of the routes will pass through the Karakiyansky district in the South of the region, and the "highlight" of the program will be the Bozzhyra gorge.

In more detail, the journey on the first route will start in the city of Aktau, pass through Zhanaozen and reach the Bozzhyr gorge, covering a distance of 298 kilometers. 20 kilometres from gorges Bazzara is the route of Zhanaozen – Beket-ATA. On the way, you can visit the Karakiya depression, the city of Zhanaozen itself, the Tuyesu Sands near the village of Senek and a camel farm, the press service of the Mangystau region akimat reported.

Bozzhyra, by the way, is located at the bottom of the rocks, and this is the most beautiful and popular destination in the region, which is in demand among tourists from Kazakhstan and other countries. For many years, these regions were visited only by specially organized expeditions. But the opening of the «Rixos» hotel in the Mangistau region has dramatically changed the situation. Local entrepreneurs want to contribute to domestic tourism and are ready to do everything so that tourists can see all this beauty.

"To ensure the mass access of tourists we decided to create a visitor center "Basjira". This facility can provide a range of services for tourists. The center will create conditions for walking, Quad Biking, jeep safari at the foot of the cliff, walking in the Bozzhyr gorge and next to it", was told in the press service of the akimat of Pavlodar region. – «The Bozzhyr Visit center project was initiated by «Dalla kz». The volume of investments is 320 million tenge.»

According to the authorities, the investor will create 40 jobs. This road will be able to pass through 45-60 thousand people a year. The route is planned to be launched in 2020-2021.
